Me and my team ( a group of three ) had one month to create a game based on the theme "across" and how I interpreted the idea was to move from one side of the screen across to the other in order to earn points. The game had taken inspiration from games such as Cuphead and TooDee and TopDee.
We also came 1st place!!! Though everyone who participated also had made quite great games!
Our first initial idea was to have the world all be 2D but due to our limitations on 2D software as a team we decided to do a mix of 3D and 2D having a world where the 2D is good and 3D is deemed as evil haha, silly right? That's why we love the idea so much
